Job Description

  • We are looking for a consultant responsible for defining and implementing tooling strategy for a major client, which will be centered around Atlassian tools – JIRA and Confluence.
  • The strategy will be focused on how the work will be managed, how teams would collaborate and on how the documentation is maintained and how the best practices are implemented
Responsibilities:
  • Understand situation regarding currently used Tooling (as-is) – this analysis is mostly already done
  • Define future (to-be) set-up, iterate with multiple stakeholders to ensure that common agreement is reached.
  • This to be set-up will need to be rather detailed, e.g. by defining all JIRA issue types, workflow, Confluence spaces, structure within the spaces, templates etc.
  • Implement to-be set-up, while taking into consideration existing tools (Note: one existing JIRA project is likely to be extended and built upon – for this knowledge transfer is planned)
  • Evaluate fit for use and business case for commercially available plugins and extensions
  • Define migration strategy for migrating existing data into new structures and oversee migration
  • Define user roles, authorizations/access processes and procedures
  • Define support roles and responsibilities and support processes
  • Define training and communication concept, deliver training to various user groups
  • Provide ongoing maintenance/administration of the tools and user support until final hand-over to the client 
  • Provide regular management reporting
  • Continuously document outputs/deliverables on Confluence
Required Skills:
  • Deep understanding of JIRA and Confluence family of products (ideally including JIRA ServiceDesk), both from the user and administration perspective
  • Knowledge of Agile methods and ways of working, esp. SCRUM and Kanban
  • Knowledge of SAFe® (Scaled Agile Framework) is strong advantage
  • Overall knowledge of basic support processes, esp. incident management, problem management, change management, questions management
  • Basic knowledge of other tools, esp. HPSM and MS TFS are an advantage
  • Experience working with Slack is an advantage
  • Fluent command of English (both written and spoken)
  • Czech/Slovak language is an advantage, but is not mandatory
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • Good writing skills
  • Proactive, self-directed person, must work independently (only a very limited oversight will be provided)
Place of work
  • Work is executed predominantly from client premises in Praha 7 – Holešovice
  • International travel may be required later on request, but will not be frequent
