  • Managing the entire product life cycle considering strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Setting the product visions, driving and defining the strategy, getting the agreement and funding, and delivering  – towards BU, management, customers
  • Packaging of  the product to ensure smooth market introduction, easy distribution and low operational efforts
  • Defining  and seting the Product Strategy and Roadmap including go to market approach
  • Market introduction and promotion as well as removal from market
  • Monitoring competitive Product positioning and differentiation
  • Gathering the voice of the customer
  • Owning, prioritizing and maintaining the Product Backlog (in collaboration with Business Units and Engineering)
  • Acting as Product Owner (with support of the team resources) in the SCRUM team
  • Defining the product requirements based on inputs from Commercial/Business Unit and Technology strategy
  • Delivering User Stories to the Engineering
  • Owning  the Product budget (incl. development and operation)
  • Providing Presales Support to Commercial/Business Unit in front of partners and customers
  • Coordinaing and defining the  business  and technical requirements
  • Assessing Product market feedback and driving Product evolution
  • Promoting the product internally and to external customers and partners
  • Establishing and managing KPIs for your product and optimizing TCO (development and operation)



Education and qualifications

  • Computer Science or Engineering degree or work experience
  • Solid understanding of agile (SCRUM) development processes
  • Project management skills
  • Wide, extensive knowledge of multiple infrastructure/application technologies including (but not limited to): Web applications/services, Windows Clients, Mobile Apps, User Interface technologies, Application development



  • 5+ years of experience in a similar software Product Management position
  • Solid experience in the Retail/PointOfSale system industry with a track record in defining new PointOfSale / Payment related product

  • Strong knowledge of Point of Sale systems and equipment in the retail industry is essential
  • Knowledge in transaction processing, including online/offline transaction processing is an advantage
